Dual Display Voltage Protector

As a reliable supplier in China, PUGAO (Plannter Electric)'s Dual Display Voltage Protector protects electrical systems and equipment from voltage abnormalities such as surges, spikes and voltage drops. Designed with dual display screens and a fast 0.01 second response time, it not only displays the current voltage in real time versus the set protection threshold, but also instantly cuts off the circuit in the event of a voltage abnormality. A solution for voltage protection that avoids the effects of faults that may be caused by supply voltage and overload.

Adjustable voltage protects electrical systems from over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current and under-current for different systems such as solar installations to prevent equipment damage. Provides a real-time monitoring and protection system for industrial, commercial and residential applications. This PUGAO (Plannter Electric) Dual Display Voltage Protector features dual LED screens that provide an at-a-glance view of input voltage and load current. Saves space with DIN rail mounting and is easy to set up using the setup/up/down/manual on/off buttons.

Features

Regulated Voltage/Current Protection: We can set customizable over-voltage e.g. >230V and over-current up to 63A thresholds to monitor and protect the electrical system from damages due to power fluctuations.

Real-time dual display screen: This Dual Display Voltage Protector features a digital LED screen that monitors both voltage 220V/230V and current values.

Multiple Indicator Alarms: Red and green LEDs clearly indicate power status, overvoltage/overcurrent and undervoltage/undercurrent conditions, providing real-time monitoring and reliable system protection for industrial, commercial and residential applications.

What Are the Functions of the Dual Display Voltage Protector?

While circuit breakers primarily provide protection against short circuits and overloads—regardless of voltage levels—if you require specialized equipment to address specific voltage-related issues, PUGAO’s Dual Display Voltage Protector is the ideal choice.

1. Overvoltage Protection

When the voltage suddenly surges—for instance, if a broken neutral wire causes the voltage to skyrocket to 380V—the device will instantly cut off the power supply the moment the voltage exceeds the preset threshold, thereby preventing electrical appliances from being damaged or burning out.

2. Undervoltage Protection

When the voltage drops too low—such as falling below 170V during peak electricity usage periods—the device will automatically disconnect the power. This prevents motor-driven appliances from overheating and burning out due to operation under insufficient voltage.

3. Overcurrent Protection

PUGAO’s products are advanced and highly reliable, featuring integrated current monitoring capabilities. Should the current exceed a preset threshold, the device will trip to provide protection.

4. Automatic Recovery

Once the voltage returns to normal levels, the voltage protector will automatically restore power after a brief delay, requiring no manual intervention.

Display and Buttons

Dual Display Voltage Protector

1 - SET button: for setting or changing the overcurrent value, high/low voltage setting values, errors, etc. in the setup.

2 - UP button: Increases the desired value.

3 - Down button: decreases the desired value.

4 - Manual On/Off Button: Used to turn off the device output. If in this state, the screen will show “off” and the device will not reset itself. If the device is not faulty pressing this button again will turn the device on and use it again.

5 - CURRENT DISPLAY

First display group: during normal operation, the input voltage is shown here; during non-fault conditions, the screen is always lit; during faults due to high or low voltage, the display flashes. During programming, the display shows the values of the relevant program such as overcurrent, high voltage/low voltage, fault wait, reset wait set values.

6 - Voltage Display

Second Display Group: During normal operation, this displays the current value; in a non-fault state, the screen remains lit; in an overcurrent fault, the screen flashes. During programming, this displays the corresponding program value.

7 - LEDs:

A>: Illuminates during an overcurrent fault.

V>: Illuminates during a high voltage fault.

V<: Illuminates during a low voltage fault.

OUT: Illuminates when the device is outputting.

FAQ

Q: Can I manually adjust the voltage trip limits myself?

A: Yes. This is one of the core advantages of PUGAO products. You can manually adjust the following parameters using the adjustment buttons on the control panel:

Over-voltage protection threshold

Under-voltage protection threshold

Over-current protection threshold

Recovery delay time

For specific configuration steps, please refer to the operation manual included with the product.

Q: Why does the screen light up immediately after connecting the power supply, but power is not delivered to the load right away?

A: Please check the screen to see if any numbers are flashing or if a countdown is in progress. This indicates that the protector's delayed startup function is active.

Purpose: To prevent electrical appliances from being damaged by sudden current surges that may occur immediately after power grid maintenance or restoration.

Recommendation: If you wish to have power delivered instantly upon connection, you can set the recovery delay time to its minimum value; however, for the sake of appliance safety, we recommend maintaining a certain delay period.
