Adjustable Over and Under Voltage Protector

If the voltage fluctuation will not only lead to equipment performance degradation, more likely to cause component damage, data loss and even fire hazards.Pugao( PLANNTER) Adjustable Over and Under Voltage Protector can not only be the first time to identify abnormalities, cut off the power supply, real-time monitoring, over-voltage and under-voltage fast power off, to extend the life of the equipment, but also support OEM/ODM, applicable to home, office, medical and industrial control systems. It also provides maintenance personnel with intuitive voltage change data, which facilitates long-term operation monitoring before a fault occurs.
Pugao( PLANNTER) has its own factory and all products of the company have passed national and international laboratory type tests. The company has certificates of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, IEC standard type test report and so on.The Adjustable Over and Under Voltage Protector is small in size, does not occupy space, easy to install, using rail mounting, without additional auxiliary power. And high safety factor can be real-time monitoring of single-phase over-voltage, under-voltage fault conditions. Whether over-voltage or under-voltage, the value is adjustable, 3 indicator lights to indicate various working status operation is simple.

Key Differences

Voltage Protector vs. Surge Protector

  • Function: A voltage protector monitors continuous voltage levels, while a surge protector handles short, high-energy spikes (transients)
  • Protection Scope: Voltage protectors cut off power during over/under voltage; surge protectors absorb or divert sudden spikes
  • Response Time: Surge protectors react in nanoseconds to spikes; voltage protectors respond to sustained abnormal voltage conditions
  • Application: Surge protectors are ideal for lightning or switching surges, while the Adjustable Over and Under Voltage Protector is designed for long-duration voltage instability
  • System Safety: Using both devices together provides more complete protection

Voltage Protector vs. Stabilizer

  • Function: A voltage protector disconnects power when voltage is unsafe; a stabilizer actively regulates and maintains a steady output voltage
  • Operation Mode: Protectors act as a safety cutoff device, while stabilizers continuously adjust voltage levels
  • Cost & Complexity: Voltage protectors are simpler and more cost-effective; stabilizers are more complex and typically more expensive
  • Energy Use: Stabilizers consume power during operation; protectors like the Adjustable Over and Under Voltage Protector have minimal energy consumption
  • Use Case: Protectors are suitable for general equipment safety, while stabilizers are used where constant voltage is required

FAQ

Can I customize the voltage thresholds for a single-phase 230V system?

Yes, of course. We support adjustable voltage settings from 220V to 230V. This Adjustable Over and Under Voltage Protector features a dual digital display that shows the adjustment value in real time, and red and green LEDs that warn of over/under voltage conditions as a precautionary measure.

What protection against power fluctuations does the dual-display voltage protector offer?

The device prevents damage from overvoltage >230V, undervoltage <230V, overcurrent >63A and undercurrent <63A. The red/green LEDs clearly show abnormal conditions, so don't worry, the cut-off function will be automatically activated to prevent damage to the device if the voltage fluctuates too much.

How Do I Install an Adjustable Voltage Protector?

  • Mount the device on a standard DIN rail inside the distribution panel
  • Connect the input (power supply) and output (load) terminals according to the wiring diagram
  • Ensure wiring matches rated voltage (e.g., 220–230V single-phase)
  • Set over/under voltage thresholds before operation
  • The Adjustable Over and Under Voltage Protector does not require additional auxiliary power, simplifying installation

Why Does the Device Turn Off and Then Back On?

  • This is normal protective behavior during voltage fluctuations
  • The device cuts off power when voltage exceeds or drops below set limits
  • It automatically reconnects after voltage returns to a safe range
  • Built-in delay (recovery time) prevents frequent switching and protects equipment
  • The Adjustable Over and Under Voltage Protector ensures continuous protection without manual reset

What Do I Do If the Screen Displays Voltage but No Power to the House?

  • Check if the device is in protection mode due to abnormal voltage
  • Verify that voltage is within the preset safe range
  • Wait for the delay time to expire for automatic reconnection
  • Inspect wiring connections for loose or incorrect installation
  • If the issue persists, consult a qualified electrician or technical support

Display and Buttons

Adjustable Over and Under Voltage Protector

1 - SET Button:This button is used to save after setting/changing Over-current values & high/low voltage setting values and error

wait time.

2 - UP Button: Increase the required value.

3 - Down Button: Reduce the required value.

4 - Manual On/Off Button: Used to manually control the device output. When the button is pressed to turn off the output, the screen will show “OFF”, and the device will not perform automatic reset functions. Press the button again to turn the device back ON and resume normal operation (under non-fault conditions).

5 - Current Display

1st Display Group: During normal operation, this Adjustable Over and Under Voltage Protector display shows the input (mains) voltage value. The screen remains steadily lit under normal conditions and flashes when an error occurs (such as high or low voltage). During parameter programming, this display shows the corresponding setting values, including overcurrent, high/low voltage limits, error delay time, and reset delay time.

6 - Voltage Display

2nd Display Group: During normal operation, this display shows the current value. The screen remains steadily illuminated under normal conditions and flashes when an over-current fault occurs. During parameter programming, this display indicates the corresponding numerical values of the relevant settings.

7 - LED Indicators:

A>: Illuminates when an over-current fault is detected.

V>: Illuminates when a high-voltage fault is detected.

V<: Illuminates when a low-voltage fault is detected.

OUT: Lights up when the device begins to output power.

Connection Diagram:

The neutral and phase wires from the mains supply must be connected to the “N” and “L” terminals labeled “Input” on the device.

The neutral and phase connections for the equipment to be protected from over- and under-voltage should be taken from the “N” and “L” terminals in the “Output” section of the device.
