Voltage protectors, also can be called surge protectors or voltage stabilizers, are another electrical device that Pugao(Plannter) offers, in addition to MCBs and changeover switches. They protect electronic devices from unexpected voltage fluctuations, that is what we called surges or spikes, ensuring a more stable power supply.
Pugao(Plannter) uses advanced technology to design and manufacture voltage protectors. These devices have a wide input voltage range, offering protection from 90-280V, making them highly adaptable to various power grids. When a surge current occurs, the protector can withstand 40kV, avoid the occurrence of large peaks, and respond to abnormal voltage in less than 1 nanosecond.
On our products, you can see clear indicator lights to prompt power on, protection activation and wiring fault warning, which is very convenient in use. The housing is made of flame-retardant material for enhanced safety.
Before installation, the first thing to consider is the installation location. To provide whole-house protection, Pugao(Plannter) recommends installing the main voltage protector at the main distribution board. For point protection, plug the voltage protector directly into a wall outlet, and make sure it's not daisy-chained with another power strip or extension cord.
After installation, it can protect electrical appliances. All available sockets can be used, but the maximum load capacity of the equipment must not be exceeded. Sensitive and expensive electronic equipment can be given priority, especially some audio equipment and medical equipment.
During the entire use process, the voltage protector basically does not require any maintenance. The key operation you can pay attention to is to regularly check the status indicator light. There are no user-serviceable parts inside, and they have a limited lifespan, with performance degrading with each surge they absorb.
