What Is a Modular Electrical Change Switch?

A Modular Electrical Change Switch (often referred to as a Manual Transfer Switch or MTS) is a safety device used to switch a load circuit between two power sources. It performs four key functions: connecting, disconnecting, switching, and isolating.

Instructions for use

2P MTS: 1. When the handle of Modular Electrical Change Switch is hit to I position: 1 and 2 are connected, 5 and 6 are connected. 2. When the handle is hit to II position: 1 and 4 are connected, 5 and 8 are connected. 3. When the handle is hit to the middle position: both groups are disconnected. 4P MTS: 1.

4P MTS: 1. When the handle of Modular Electrical Change Switch hits the I position: 1 and 2 are connected, 5 and 6 are connected, 9 and 10 are connected, 13 and 14 are connected. 2. When the handle hits the II position: 1 and 4 are connected, 5 and 8 are connected, 9 and 12 are connected, 13 and 16 are connected. 3. When the handle hits the intermediate position: two sets of disconnections.

The position of the inlet and outlet lines can be adjusted according to actual needs. Note: The upper inlet and lower outlet may not be set, and the lower inlet and upper outlet must be adopted when used for double power switching.
